"My husband and I live in the United States and after having rather ambitiously decided to get married in Kent, were obliged to plan our wedding remotely with the help of his Kent based parents. It was only in the final couple of months as the stress mounted that we decided to look into securing the services of a wedding coordinator, to ensure that after all of the time and effort that we had invested over many months everything would come together smoothly on the day. We found Dimples Events early in our search and from the very first email we knew they were the right people for us. From the start Simone was prompt, professional and warm, and she demonstrated a special care for detail which was so valuable to us. "I had no thoughts of talking of a wedding planner when I started preparing for my wedding. I thought it would be cheaper to do the whole thing myself and anyway - who else but me would know instinctively what my guests would like and how I want my wedding to be?

I originally took on Simone at Dimples Events simply to dress the tables but as time went on she became so much more than that. Her encyclopedic knowledge of all things bridal meant that she instantly "got" what I was trying to do. She always gave an honest opinion of my ideas (even the really weird ones) and was a mine of information on suppliers saving me time and money on numerous occasions. It was fantastic to have someone outside of my family and bridesmaids to bounce ideas off of - I found that as Bridezilla took me over, everyone except Simone just wanted to humour me all the time. The day before my wedding I panicked, realising that the place names I had ordered myself were not suitable. Simone took over and several of my guests commented on how beautiful the handwritten cards were – all her own work! Without Simone I probably would have gone off the rails long before the big day and I truly believe that had I taken her on as a full time planner from the beginning I would have saved at least a quarter of my budget.

"For anyone wondering whether or not having a wedding coordinator is an extravagance, think no more and hire Dimples Events for your wedding straight away. We were hesitant, feeling that we’d already planned much of our wedding, having found a venue and most of our suppliers, plus our budget was already stretched and adding yet another supplier to the list seemed a crazy idea. But as soon as Simone and Nicola came on board we instantly started to save money as they added such value by way of their industry contacts which were absolutely amazing for us – particularly the beautiful trees from Topiary House. But even more valuable and something that was completely priceless to us was the feeling that we were in such utterly safe and professional hands and dealing with people who knew exactly what they were doing. As the wedding day approaches it gets hectic and feels daunting and so it was very reassuring to be led through the final preparations by people who have overseen successful wedding days countless times before and can give advice as to what works and what doesn’t.

Whilst some brides may already know what accessories they want for their wedding day. I required a bit more help and Simone was always instantly on hand with ideas and photos to inspire me and never ever seemed to tire of my indecision. Her attentive yet calm and professional approach was also perfect for handling any hitches that came up and for dealing with both of us when the preparations started to take their toll. By hiring Dimples Events we were able to enjoy the last few weeks much more than we would’ve had we not had Simone’s good humor to get us through it. "When you decide to get married, you have so much to do and it can feel quite overwhelming. You have your budget to set and everyone seems to have advice for you. The 3 areas you should spend your money on are your photographer, your rings and your wedding planner. The help, advice and contacts a wedding planner can provide is invaluable, they can also save you time and money.

The service Simone provided David and I was just this, invaluable.

We had an amazing day, thanks to Simone, the only thing she couldn’t fix for us was the weather!! But it didn’t spoil it at all. Simone’s standards are extremely high and nothing is too much trouble. It doesn’t matter how big or small your budget is you have to find room for Simone!! She was happy to be involved as little or as much as we chose and was always honest in her opinions and advice. She feels like a friend and wants the absolute best for you as a couple and her approach to the whole experience – as if it was her own wedding, makes you realize how much she cares. "Thank you so much for putting us in touch with our photographer and caterer. The photographers were so friendly, and at the same time professional. We were over the moon with our wedding album and plan to use their services again in the near future. The album we chose was unusual which made it all the more special and the price of the whole package really was unbeatable, we would highly recommend to anyone.

Our caterers were fabulous. We had to get them to check the quote they gave us as it was a lot less than we had expected to pay! The food was delicious and there was so much of it. We would highly recommend them and they made our day so much less stressful. We completely trusted them to make our reception a success and they did not let us down.

I don't know many people who would be so calm when we wanted to build the venue to have the wedding in, three months before the wedding!
